Child Dentistry
Our goal is the cultivation of healthy permanent teeth with proper spacing and positioning.
The goal of child dentistry, or pedodontics, is the maintenance of a healthy oral environment and the cultivation of permanent teeth with proper spacing and positioning. At Tokyo Gulf Dental, we strive for treatment taken in gradual steps to accustom children slowly to the fear and potential pain involved in working on teeth. In addition to treatment for children who have developed cavities, we also conduct preventative dentistry such as post-treatment sealant application and fluoride treatment to avoid future cavities. For children without cavities, we conduct preventative measures to ensure their teeth stay healthy.
I protect the health of children’s teeth with a focus on “care” over “cure.”
When treatment is necessary, I conduct my diagnosis and treatment under the motto of having children go home with a smile even if they come in crying.
